Hello,
I'm new posting here but have enjoyed this site for years. I figured for sure someone here would know the answer to my question.

Getting ready to install new clutch in my 86 GT 2.8 getrag 5spd, and need to know what the size & dimentions are for the Flywheel/Crank & presure plate/flywheel bolts. Anyone have ATP, SACHS, or other part #'s for these bolts??? There seems to be a lot of confussion in the aftermarket parts list about these.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!

According to the P22:

Flywheel to crankshaft: M10 X 1.0 X 23 (10.9)

Pressure plate to flywheel: M8 X 1.25 X 22 (9.8)

where for example for the first bolt:
M = metric
10 = diameter in mm's
1.0 = thread pitch
23 = length under the head in mm's
10.9 = metric bolt grade

There's no detriment to using 10.9 pressure plate bolts right? Just not less than 9.8?

Just because I am an idiot, would 8.8 work, or is it critical enough that 9.8 is the minimum?

Hello, I put my 9 1/5 inch PPlate & Disc in over a year ago (about 7k miles) I used 10s on everything, figured overkill wouldn't hurt. Personally I wouldn't go below the 9.8 just to be safe. That come from over 40 yrs of building & racing both cars & bikes.

Don't skimp on the flywheel to crank bolts, but the pressure plate bolts don't really hold a lot of load, so I would say that the 8.8's would be fine. Larry

I hear ya! I bought an ATP 88 flywheel and accompanying ATP flywheel bolts. For the pressure plate, I ended up using black steel class 10.9, 8x1.25 20mm bolts that I found at Menard's... last place I thought I would find something that would work.
