The max shift point and the point in the power band where max horsepower is made will be different. I would shift that engine at 5500-5600 RPM. Above that the horsepower falls off. If you are content with about 205 HP the 3800SC series I engines are dated but reliable and get good gas mileage. It uses an Eaton M60 supercharger that is 30% smaller and less efficient than what is used on the series II/III engines but still far better than the stock 2.8L engine..
