Has anyone rebuilt the upper intake by cutting off the intake snout and installing the TB on top of the intake? I have milled off the raised ribs of a spare unit and cut off the TB mounting flange and am preparing to weld the flange to the center of the upper manifold. will run a line back for the IAC too, Thoughts? I also noticed the air passage at the neck where it flows into the large section of the manifold looks large enough anyway. I was told there was a restriction there but it actually shows a a larger cross section than the TB opening.
