I'm trying to wrap up my 3800SC swap, just need to build a suitable PS axle.

My 3800SC is mounted in the center of the cradle, both 4T65E-HD tulips come out the same distance from the hubs, so I need two of the same length axles.

The stock fiero DS auto axle worked perfectly, so I want to just run another fiero DS auto axle on the PS, but obviously I need to change the tulip.

Unfortunately, my 4T65E-HD (from a '99 GTP) has the large tulips, so the fiero trilobal joint is too small to be used. Additionally, the fiero PS auto tulip doesn't have the right dia/splines to work with the 4T65E-HD.

Is there a tulip that will fit in the PS of the 4T65E-HD which has the correct size for use with a fiero auto axle's trilobal joint? From searching here it looks like there is a second 4T65E-HD tulip that is smaller, will it work properly with the fiero axle?

Otherwise, will the GTP outer fit in the fiero wheel hub? I could try using the GTP axle on the PS if it will fit the fieros wheel hub.

I did this thread it should help. My sig has info too. I too mounted my tulips (trans) dead center of the hubs.
PS the driver side inner axle off of a 93 Caddy Sedan Deville will work with a 4t65ehd tulip and a Fiero, manual outer.
Look for the 2.5 inches between the boots for the proper length axle in the yard.
Good luck.
