The 20amp tail fuse keeps blowing. My dash lights/markers, ect worked a week ago and I really can't remember changing anything (radio, park circuit, ect). I took out the inst fuse and the tail fuse still blows so that issolates the short to a few different things...

Underhood light
LH/RH front bumper park lights (x2)
LH/RH front side marker lights (x2)
Ashtray lights (x2)
LH/RH rear side marker lights (x2)
LH/RH rear tail lights (x4)
License plate lights (x2)
Clock

--> When the fuse is in, it blows when I turn my lights on / and parking lights on. I unplugged my lights and light motors, still blows, I took both connecters off the radio, still blows... How should I troubleshoot this? Yesterday, when my parking lights where on, I had no dash lights and my clock light was not on. (on my other car - this happened when the transistor blew, so I went ahead and replaced the transistor under the dash)... No fix.

If you check each positive contact in each light socket (not the side wall of the socket)...they should all be open, but one of them won't be....that's the one with the bad wire.

So I need to do a conneutity test? I'm showing continuity between both terminals on two of the three sockets I tested. On the third one, no continuity.. did I do it wrong?

Go here and download the manual for yourself. Can't be driving that beast with no lights. If you can't figure it out let me know maybe I can give you a hand.

Have you installed anything new. I swapped a different radio into one of my Corvettes and dash and tail lites kept blowing fuses. I used the wrong ground wire in the dash for the radio. I couldnt use the original radios ground, and fixed it by grounding it with a screw into metal.
