So my fan wont turn on... I checked the can, the relay so I am left with the sensor on the motor... Are these HyperTech replacements any good? Anyone have any experience they wanna share?!?! Thanks for any input!

What sensor on the motor? You can check if the switch is working by connecting the wire going to the switch to ground, and seeing if the fan turns on. If the car has AC, turning on the AC should also turn the fan on.

If i turn the ac on, the fan turns on. the relays on the front firewall are brand new... The only thing really left is the stupid switch. Lol if i let it be with no ac on, she will get toasty in a hurry... I think im gonna hop all over a rodney fan switch...

Most likely the reason your fan doesn't turn on is because the engine never gets hot enough. The stock turn on temp is 235. It won't come on during normal driving, and considering how cold it is outside you would have to let the engine run a long long time before it got up to 235. It won't come on while you are moving.

Rodney's is better than the Hypertech. The Hypertech comes with a wiring pigtail. You have to cut the OEM connector off and splice the Hypertech connector on. Rodney's uses the OEM connector.

I cannot speak to Rodney's switch being better or worse than the Hypertech, but the Hypertech switch is a direct plug-and-play. The Hypertech does come with a extra pigtail that is to be used with certain vehicles, but that pigtail is not needed for the Fiero. This past summer I replaced my fan switch with a Hypertech one.

That's good to know. Thanks for the update. I'd still go with Rodney to support a Fiero vendor, plus his is cheaper and you have a choice of multiple on/off temps.
