Yeah, I know this should go in Chat but Tech is where my friends hang out, I just wanted to share my joy, I got allot of little nagging things done on a couple of my Fieros, feeling good about the accomplishment.
86 Fiero, aka Silver Bullet, aka "the Detroit Car".
- Final fit of exhaust, clamped and springs in place.
- Bleed out my Grand Am brake upgrade.
- Charge battery.
- Bleed out clutch.
- Change out oil, new filter.
- Spray painted all minor rust on chasis, brake lines, hydraulic lines & drain covers.
- Checked all fluids, air pressure and got plastic caps on lug nuts.
- Quick "test run" in parking lot, everything is satisfactory.
88 T-Top Fiero aka "The Dependable Daily"
- Replace two front brake hoses.
- Bleed brakes.
- Clutch bled out, very good now.
- Change out oil, new filter. (in pan filter too)
- All fluids and air pressure checked.
- Spray painted the floor drain pan covers including trunk cover.
- Lube the chasis.
Now I didn't do all of this by myself, I paid our new assistant mechanic at work to help me after hours, he did a great job. Greg knows all the short cuts, I was his "tool boy" keeping ahead of him with the wrenches, parts and such while being and "expert pedal pusher" during the bleeding process. You know that I've done all this by myself before so it was really nice to have the moral support and work as a team for a change.
Man alive, I'm just contented and satisfied it's all done, feels good, thanks for letting me share that with you.
