Has anyone painted their stock rims like the ones below black or gunmetal? My rims looks bad, and would like a cheap solution that looks decent.

Would anyone be willing to photoshop these rims on the car black or gunmetal? Thanks.

Consider this, go ahead and paint the face of the rims black, but paint the inside of the slots and your lug caps RED, that would be cool.

Yeah I need to buy a photoshop program. Explore all the options. That probably would look good.

I think they look better, but only as a temporary solution.

I was thinking of doing the same thing to my car, but with that spray vinyl stuff.

There is a thread here somewhere about that spray vinyl/plastic stuff. I forget what it's called.

I wanted to black out the middle of the stock rims and polish the lip but then i started thinking of doing something different. I took the old clear off, sanded all the lines, ridges, whatever you want to call them, smooth, and then polished what i wasnt going to paint and here is some pics of what i ended up doing.

This is how it looks right now.

And here is what im going for. Need to lower it, new sail panels, and tint the windows.

Pretty creative... new spin on a classic wheel. I like that!
