I bought a set of bolt on Lambo hinges from a member here. Very well engineered and well made. Here is a link that I used.
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/078049.html First off, there is a big difference between the stock Fiero door skins and the Fino/Finale. Looking at the door profile or thickness, it's got to be at least 1 inch thicker than the stock skin. This also means that the fender is an inch wider than stock. All of this changes how the pivoting mass of the door reacts. The pivot point is the same, there is just more "door" outside of the pivot point that moves.
I started by installing the Lambo hinges on my stock '86 GT. I got everything aligned correctly and the door working the way it should and was very happy with it.

Then I stripped off all of the stock panels and started on the Fino body. Since the door skins are an inch thicker than stock, they hit the front fenders when they swing open. I can correct this by aligning the front clip so the door/fender gap is bigger. The second problem is that the front fenders are also wider so when the doors swing up there is no room at all between the door metal shell and the fiberglass fender. The door opens but it will rub off the paint. I plan on fixing this by cutting and welding the door shell.

I know close up pictures may help, but it's cold, dark and raining right now. Maybe tomorrow
