Just trying to get an idea of what might be the best ecm option for a 00 3100 out of a lumina large port design with an 88 coupe 5spd into an 85 gt (parts laying around)

i know the 7730 (which i have one with an 86 manuel harness for the 2.8) will work and im sure there are other ones that will too im kinda thinking a newer ecm would be better because of sfi but just trying to see what you 60degree gurus might have to say

98 ecu... its what im using on my 3500 swap, and its what darth recommends for all the 3x00 obd2 swaps.

and your 3100 wiring harness should plug right into it with minor changes.

what number ecu sounds like i got a pullapart trip

i have one out of an 01 impala in my car right now, matches one of them service #'s, and im using 98 venture van code at the moment.
