im not sure whether i should make individual heat shields or one large one and whether to allow them to have ventalation of a sort or not. your input is welcome.

also, this is a sneak preview for my COPs setup on the 3800sc3

ok so while awaiting these to upload to tinypic from my iphone net connection, i talked to my brother about this. he was saying i should make a heatshield for the pacesetter headers to keep heat from the coils. there is maybe .5-.8" of space to use :/ this will be tough. hooray for challenges!

ok so that was a horrible design now that i look at it on the motor. redesigning the heatshields.

Remote mount the coils so they will be away from the heat and out of site....

I understand but I would still remote mount them to get them out of sight and away from the heat.....

Where is the heat coming from that you're trying to shield them from? The heads, or the exhaust manifolds/headers? For the latter, Jet Hot and a custom heat shield on the exhaust would help a lot. If the heads, then I'm not sure what a good way to shield them from heat is. I think I'd have to agree with MstngsBeware, and say to use remote coils instead.
