On the metal coolant line running back the side of the Fiero, under the door, there is a small drain plug just in front of the rear tire.

Does anyone know the thread size of this plug? Or where I can get one?
My plug is stripped out and I believe it will take some "persuasion" to remove it. I want to have a new one in hand to replace it with before I get this one out.

Tried looking it up in the P-Book for you but it's not listed separately. Oh well. Of the four Fieros I have (including a parts car), only one of them has removable coolant pipe drain plugs, the rest are like yours with the head stripped and solidly stuck in place. The work-around solution is to disconnect the rubber hose from the pipe (about 8" away from the plug), and let it drain from there. What little coolant remains in the pipe because of the up-turned end can be drained by raising the front of the car a bit, but it usually isn't necessary to drain it all.

Thanks blooz for checking the book for that plug!
I just dont like the fact that it is stripped out like it is, and I am just being picky in having to have it replaced. If noone chimes in with the size, I will probably just pull it and have a helper hold a finger over the hole till I can get a thread pitch gauge on it to see what the size is.
Then, Ill just have to figure out if it is a standard thread or pipe thread....

Edit: It takes 4.5 mm hex key but few have one. A Torx T30 will usually work.

Re-edit: Probably 1/8" NPTF stainless as stated below. The outside diameter is about 3/8" and common ones take a 3/16" hex drive.

Re-edit: Junkyard would be the best place to get one.

Thank you!
I did not know if it was an oddball metric size, or NPT size. I'll get one of those as soon as I get to the store and try it out
