I tried checking the P-Book but it only lists the screws as part of a kit without specifying the size and thread pitch. If no one comes up with the answer by tomorrow for you, I'll go measure one up for you off a spare engine and post back here.

I just went out and checked the TPS screws on my '88 V6. They were torx T25, and should be the same for '85 V6's also. I have also seen some TPS screws that were Phillips head as well.

Actually Blooze got me the size about 10 months ago.

The TPS screws are metric.

M5 X 0.8 X 25

These screws seem hard to come by...I just re-tapped the threads and used new metric steel screws so the old ones won't have a chance
breaking / snapping in the TB unit.

True...my original 88GT has torx T25 screws holding the TPS on the TB. Funny, I thought possibly back in the 90s the dealer maybe serviced the car and used better screws.
