I didn't say you were talking about Archie. Though he is the only one offering a kit. And the person I was replying to (hawkebat) mentioned the need of a kit to
bolt the F40 to the 2.8, which is incorrect. Along with all the other incorrect things that were stated in his(?) post. I was merely stating that a kit was not
required to bolt the transmission to the engine. And I'm not disagreeing that there's a lot more to making the F40 work in a Fiero. I already stated that I was only correcting the minor incorrect lack of information, to a correct statement, which also lacks a lot more information on the subject. Frankly, the F40 is a horrible trans to be bolting to the 2.8. It was designed for an engine making twice as much power. And if you're going to swap out the transmission to something that requires that much work, you might as well change the engine too, so you can make some power to actually use the trans.
