Recently purchased a car with a 7730 computer swap, as of today the engine light came on when I was on my way home. It kept going on and off as I drove. Supposedly it had all new sensors before I purchased it. I know with the stock computer you can use a paper clip in the terminals near the cig lighter. I was not sure if it was the same deal with the 7730, and I sure don't want to make an assumptions.

Depends how it was wired up. Hopefully it was wired up to use the diagnostic connector and the wires are in the correct spots. If so, do it just like a Fiero. If not, might be able to just back probe the appropriate ECM pins. Who knows, maybe they installed a switch to make it easier? Probably best to ask who you got it from as to how to pull codes.

Well it still does have wires going to the diagnostic connector. I would assume it is still fully functional. I know that Darth Fiero at sinister performance in Ft Wayne was the one that swapped computers, and I had thought of shooting him an email, but thought I would ask on here first before I bother him because I am guessing that he is a pretty busy guy.

If I did the 7730 ECM swap in-house, then the ALDL would have been wired up correctly for this ECM. And you SHOULD be able to flash the trouble codes thru the check engine light with the key on (engine not running) and by shorting pins A and B of the ALDL together just like you were able to do with the stock Fiero ECM.

Let me know what code(s) you get (email me as I might not be able to check back with this thread).

Well it seemed to be behaving for a while but recently the light has been coming on again. It's showing code 43.
