my 88 3800 swap has the heater core worked like this wonding if this will work I am having a hard time bleeding it
So i am running stock 3800 thermostat , LIM port sealed , and i have a 3/8 barbed fitting out of my water pump as feed and the return line is T off to right side coolant pipe
in the drawing the circle off the heater core line basicly goes to my fitting on my water pump
make sence to me but want to be sure !!

Your heater core feed needs to be off the LIM, the waterpump is the return side.

Yes, you will need a modified Fiero T-stat housing with the heater outlet below the T-stat if you dont want to use the LIM feed. And the plug the waterpump return.

You cant do that ! The heater core acts as a path for the coolant to move untill the T-stat opens. Without the flow it will overheat quickly.

On all the swaps we build, we run the heater core line from the modified thermostat housing and use the stock 87-88 heater core line in the passenger side coolant tube. On pre 1987 models, we TIG weld a stainless steel fitting into the passenger side pipe to simulate the 87-88 heater core setup. This keeps the engine bay cleaner looking.
