Also, does any one know where to get the cluster wiring connecter, GM Parts direct is showing nothing (or I'm not looking in the right place) and I don't feel like paying $100+ for a full ebay harness when all I need is the connector. Isn't there another company that makes connectors, Delphi or something? Thanks!

Delphi probably makes the connector, figuring out which one it is will be tougher. I just cut mine off a car that was at the scrap yard. You are not likely going to find it from a dealer as they only have access to complete harnesses. You could try asking on one of the Camaro forums if someone has a damaged harness and will cut the end off for you.
There is no circuit diagrams for the cluster's available - wiring diagram for which wire goes where on the plug, yes - but nothing beyond that (what is internal to the cluster).
I would imagine that the electronics on the Camaro cluster is very similar to the Firebird one, just use my pictures that I post in the dash swap thread to locate where to make the mod. If it is completely different, I would have to see the circuit board to be able to figure out how it is working.
