I want to wire in my side mount signals to flash in unison with my front ones but I'm not sure what color the wires are. I've taken my headlights out and I've been looking and there are 2 wires that go down into the front on either side. I'm sure those are it but I can't seem to find wiring diagram to confirm this. Also need to know the - and the + wires.

Next are my headlights. They worked before I transplanted them and then I tried the other day to switch them on and they came on but the motors didn't put the lights up. Weird? I thought so. I'm going to check the motors tomorrow and see if their getting power and trace it back if I have to but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Next thing is sort of off topic but I've got an aftermarket HID conversion kit installed in my car and I'm not sure where to mount the box's. Ideas? Anyone have them and have pictures I can look at?

Thanks guys/gals,
Cody (86_Fiero WCF)

I dont know that you can make your side markers flash with the front signals. The side markers use a single filiment bulb and flash opposite of the front signals because when the front signal gets 12v to turn on it sends it to the ground side of the side marker canceling its ground and turning it off..

Try pushing on your headlight switch slowly, If the motors start to come up hold that position till they are up, if that works your isolation relay is bad, mine has been for 8 years, just got used to turning on the lights that way !

Cant help with the HID's

Stock wiring the side markers flash in unison of the turn signals when the parking lights are off.

Turn on the parking lights and the side marker flashes the opposite of the turn signal.

Standard wiring for the side markers, one of the wires goes to the hot wire for the turn signal, the other wire goes to the hot wire for the parking light.

No no you guys have misinterpreted what I meant. I'll get a picture.

This is what I meant. I've installed these on either side just in front of the door above the trim. I have the wires running up and into the hood area. I'll make them longer so they reach the signals down in the front fascia but I want to know which wires in the front signals are the positive and negative. Seems to me that if I wire them in series with the front signals both sets of lights should A light up at the same time and B both get the same amount of power each because my side ones are LED and they use next to no power. I just want to make sure they'll flash in sync with the front fascia signals.

The side markers flash alternately from the front turn signals. Ordinarily on most cars you could run one of your 2 wires to ground and other to the turn wire at the front turn signal. The two wires at the front turn lite are one for parking lite and other is turn. With them alternating the side marker, I dont know for sure if they will work at all or if they all will blink together. Its possible wiring it in , that when you turn on the signal it would blow the fuse.

Tried the trick mike. It didn't pan out.
I don't like the sound of possibly blowing a fuse. Wiring suggestions?

Just get any service manual. download... http://www.fieronews.net/fusion/downloads.php

Wire new bulb same as dash indicator light.
Then cut blue wire and ground front markers.

This is used by EU owners.

But note...
See my cave, LED marker on lighting section.
Covers how front markers work.

Check Canada rules, similar to FMVSS in U.S. It may not be legal to have both to flash or have markers disable to flash. Canada shares some code/rules that NHSTA in U.S. uses...
