I've got an 84 SE, and my neighbor mentioned that I should check out the build sheet. He's somewhat into classic cars, and he said that they're a great source of detail info.

Anybody know where it might be. He said that they're often inside the seat. Someplace that is accessible.

Thanks,

hj

Well I wouldn't be cutting up my seats to find a build sheet.

I've stripped interiors and seats and have never found a build sheet.
Decode your RPO codes on the inner front fender.

Many, many years ago, they used to put a "build sheet" in cars. They stopped doing that in the 70's I think? The RPO code list is all you need as it is more or less a "build sheet". The codes on it are all codes to tell you what options YOUR exact car was built with.

Nope, no such thing in the Fiero. RPO info in the front compartment is it.

Not just a 'Many Years Ago' thing. My 1996 Chevy Impala had a build sheet in the seat. Also, my 2002 Corvette supposedly has a build sheet buried in the frame somewhere. Can be gotten to only by removing the front nose/clip of the car. I didn't want it that bad to go get it.
