When i purchased the car that was one of the first things i discovered. 3 and 5 plug wires were reversed. Dummy

A friend of mine used to see the DPO drive, well putter and sputter, by his house so the friggin guy drove it like that for atleast a little while before he cooked the ECM.

Well got all that straightened out and at first start up she was blowing some black smoke let me tell ya! Anyway got the plugs all cleaned up and regapped....

Heres my question... At first when driving the car it felt like the clutch was starting to slip. Only during heavy acceleration. You know the engine would rev and the car wouldnt, then the car would catch up type slipping. Not slipping at all at stop signs and redlights. Well ive put almost 450 miles on it and it doesnt seem to be slipping anymore. (knock on wood here).

Is it possible that the build up of oil in cylinder 3 and 5 due to not firing properly may have cause oil to leak onto my clutch through the main bearing or seal?

Any thoughts about this would be greatly appreciated

Die UBL paybacks a ***** !

no.

but the clutch may have been glazed due to low engine performance and poor driving. If you let it slip enough, it will do that. And it will get un-glazed sometimes.
