Alright guys.......was wondering if the 88s brakes can be swapped on to other years. It seems everyone thing else has been adapted to swap, also what about the booster and master cylinder?

What, just the brakes? If you get the '88 suspension, then the brakes are included. Trying to just get '88 brakes without '88 suspension...IDK. Isn't that why we do the Grand Am brakes?
Honestly Im not sure why people want the 88 brakes over any of the other swaps for 84-87, the calipers are absurdly expensive and arent very good to begin with.
If you want to swap to vented rotors do yourself a favor and use something more available and save your self the head aches of dealing with hard to find brake parts for the 88.
Hell I even have to order my brake pads whenever I need them for my 88 they are never stocked.

since everyone seems to be talking about brake swaps and not answering the op's question....
I recently did a Q&A on here about this exact thing... turns out it's difficult to adapt 88 brakes to the earlier models without swapping the cradles, you basically need a custom made bracket, and even then...
The long/short of it came down to: it will be cheaper, easier and overall better to swap for GA brakes, unless you can get the suspension and everything.
Do a search, this discussion comes up quite a bit.
thanks Mystick......i going to do some more reserch...ERIC

Be sure to read all about brake swaps and bias in ogre's Fiero cave, there's a link at the bottom of every forum page...
He does an in-depth analysis about the GA upgrades (both front and rear) as well as Brake Mater cylinder comparisons with various brake options, even a GA front with Seville rear option and his opinion on that...
To get back to your first question, you CAN adapt 88 brakes onto earlier models, but everyone will ask why.

Even if you swap the whole suspension, it's probably still better to do the GA brakes.

I beg to diffre on that. My car is running with the corvette big brake rotors on the 88 calipers and they damn near stop on a dime. i can lock them up all day if i wanted to with ease. Not to mentio they put out better stopping power than the calipers on my solstice,
