Hello all, its been a while since ive been back here.

Anyway, what I am looking for is some real good close-up pics of an indy pace car so I can replicate the decals for a friend. I know you can buy them online but I like doing things myself. So if your a Pace Car owner and want to help me out with good pics and measurents, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Scott

I know you said you like doing things yourself, but I think you'll find it best to do some research and buy from a supplier. There are a few threads here that point out that there are some differences between decal sets - that is, some Indy's that are rolling around may have the incorrect decals on them. Some eBay sellers have been bad about this, and there' s a likelihood that a picture supplied could actually have the wrong decals.

Here's a good recent thread that detailed such an ordeal in regards to Indy Fiero decals.

I can take some for you this weekend. Or you could take a day trip & come by & check it out for yourself (as well as my projects & recent paintjobs).
I'm pretty sure my car has the original decals (it's a parade lap car). I know some of the aftermarket decals have grey instead of black letters.

Hello,

Thanks for the link and reply's. I understand about the authenticity and have no intention of selling them as original OEM decals. I do signs and have the equipment and know-how to do it right so with the supplied pics it will help but accurate measurements
are essential. I just cant see paying over $200 when I already have all the material to do the job on hand. So I really need nice close up (flat pics) of each of the words and the whole door as well as measurements L, H, W and if possible placement measurements ie.. how far from door edges etc...

Thanks
again
