Hey guys,

Probably a dumb question, but I'm replacing the speaker in my performance sound subwoofer box with a replacement from Rodney Dickman. Do you guys know which wire is the positive wire? Going into the subwoofer would be either a solid red, or a black w/ red stripe. Any idea which one is positive? I made the black with red stripe the positive, but I'm not sure that's right...

Thanks!

Haynes manual says blu/blk for both sides, so I won't trust that. But I'm fairly sure red is positive, and black is negative on the speaker side of the connector. And the harness side is blue and black wires, IIRC.

You can always hook up a small battery like a AA to it and watch the speaker. That will tell you positive and negative for sure. The speaker will depress when correct or push out when not.
