Do any of you guys with the aero bodies still have those plastic blocks attached to the underside of your bumper inside the aero nose? Is there any purpose to those other than serving as parking bump stops? I ditched mine several years ago, and there's a Fiero in the yard which has them both there. It's hte first Fiero in the yard that I've seen with these in almost 5-8 years... so I'm wondering if I should bother getting them.

They actually serve a purpose...

They prevent the nose from lifting and tearing itself off of the front of the car when pressure is applied from underneath..
AKA top straps, curbing the front end when parking, etc.

But is that only when parking? Or are you saying that like... when I'm doing 130 miles an hour on the highway, it helps prevent the pressure building under it from tearing it off?

EDIT: Thanks by the way.

A trick Ive done to quite a few Lambos is to find some old style steel wheeled roller skates. I cut them so that there is just the wheels, axles and support. I bolt them on the bottom of the front crossmember so that they are just a little below the front spoiler. When they pull up to a speedbump or driveway, the front of the car body rides up on the wheels keeping the spoiler just above the pavement.

These are called "lift blocks" and were intended to allow the cars to be towed with the older sling style tow trucks
