Im having a trouble with my turn signals. That is when I push the lever down the blinking frequency is rather slow and the lights to the left dont blink just stay on.
I also seem to have lost my horn contact do you guys have any ways for me to make one ?
The problem is almost always a burnt out or a badly grounded front bumper bulb. Try that first andif that's not the problem, then try your hazards to see if they work. Post back your results.
the easy fix for the turn signals is to get an electronic flasher relay. cheap & easy - and the blinkers wont slow down & speed up with your alternator output.
the cause of this is the mechanical ones use circuit load to time the flashes, and you have an uneven load. be it due to different styles bulbs, dirty connections, or just poopy wiring.
One flasher (blinker) does the turn signals. The one does both sides. If one side blinks slower than the other it means there is a smaller load on that side. Since the same blinker does both sides, it is not possible for this trouble to be coming from the flasher itself. So look at the side the blinks slower and find out why the bulbs aren't as bright as the other side. Bad ground or bad bulb. The flasher for the turn signals is mounted at the steering column. (Turn on the signal and listen for the clicks)
There is a separate flasher (blinker) that does the 4 way flashers. That flasher is by the passengers feet.

Thank you very much I will check this out tomorrow
I wanted to add the the front turn signal bulb is a dual filament so when the flasher is going and say that the running light is dim to begin with on one side then the other, the brighter filament (turn flash) is drawing the current instead of the running light. Thus the bulb is in backwards.. I did the same thing to mine and couldn't figure it out until I took the bulb out, looked at it and then accidentally putting it back the right way.. Problem fixed and the flashing was the same timing on both sides.
