Alright.... I've got one for yah. Calling all turn signal gurus...

When I use my turn signals "leftside" the light just stays on and does not flash. My rightside, however, flashes. When my hazards are on, both flash? Where would you think my trouble is? When my hazards are on, the driverside, yet it blinks, is weaker than the passenger ( both front and back)

Thanks for the help in advance

Bad bulb or bad ground

Try the bulb first. If that doesn't fix it the dim light has a bad ground.

Assuming all your bulbs are good, I would say it could be a ground?

I have a bad socket on the passenger side marker light when my running lights are on. I get no voltage signal when testing. Both with the red and blk ends in the socket or red in the socket and blk on the frame. Considering that wires were never cut or exposed, do you think it's a relay-- if there is one? Or the flashed itself? I'll test cotinuity right now for ground... If I spelled that right

The socket that is out ( side marker light passenger ) has nO reading in either prong for the ground test cotinuity. The other side does read on one prong something... Not .0 though it's like .17

Nevemind on the .17--- it's the battery charger... Dumbass me. Anyway the ground screw right inside where the head light housing is reads fine. This is where the socket blk wire splits and goes elsewhere plus the inside side screw. Do you think it's a bad socket?

Try measuring voltage instead of contenuity. See if you have 11-12 volts there.

The side marker light runs between the parking light power and the turn signal power for that side. It's a weird way to wire it, but it does work. So turn on your turn signal for that side and also have on your parking lights. Using ground as a reference see if you get turn signal flashing voltage on one pin. See if you get a solid +12 on the parking light pin. Which ever you are missing is what needs to be fixed.

I got the marker light to work.. Little corroded in the points inside. So now all lights work but still have a problem with the flasher on the driverside. Driver side bulb front running light gets hotter than the other and flashes very very low. Back turn stays on.. When I do the blinker for the driverside, the driveside marker light goes out now but was like that before.

Thanks for all your help in this guys!

The Fiero spirit came in and saved me.... Who knows???? It works now though and I didn't do anything?

Would a low battery cause that?

when I got into a jarring accident with a guardrail, my signal wouldn't flash although the bulb was still lighting up. I had assumed that I had pinched a ground wire on the frame somewhere. Turns out, the bulb filament had busted loose and crossed paths with the parking lamp filament. I discovered this because the signal would flash but only if I had the parking lights on. Turned the parking lights off, and the filament wouldnt flash. Replaced what appeared to be a functional bulb and the problem went away. At the very least try reseating the bulbs in the socket.

Well... A Little secret... I had a jarred incident with a 2 foot tall dirt berm and it did bust the lens housing. Got that all fixed though - lens with a new bulb and honestly I think it was that the bulb was backwards though it did fit.. I thought. Anyway, thanks for the chime in.

See https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...HTML/114150.html#p11

Bulb came loose, getting intermittent ground.

New socket? Use "Bulb Grease." many auto part shores has little packets.
See my cave. light bulb in lighting section.
