Steering wheels don't use bolt patterns, they have a splined hub that seats on the column shaft. You can purchase aftermarket hubs that will allow you to use a quick disconnect steering wheel. Most GM wheels use the same spline hubs. For instance, I have a Grand Am steering wheel on one of my cars.

You'll need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off the shaft - just in case you didn't know that.

Hi xgamefan,
All GM cars, except Corvette tilt telescope and any cars from Australia use the same steering column spline so you can buy a MOMO hub or Grant hub and a Grant quick release for a Grant steering wheel (5 bolt pattern) or use the MOMO with SPARCO, MOMO or OMP steering wheels (6 bolt) and a LifeLine or Sparco QR. Go to this website and call. www.winecountrymotorsports.com.

Well this is not true: in fact, not all FIEROS use the same size spline. I tried to put a later Fiero wheel on an '84 & it was too big.

That is very cool. There's a wheel used on the '90s Jeep Wagoneer that looks very much like the original '84 Fiero 3 spoke wheel. I came across what looked like a brand new replacement in the yard a few months ago. It was larger diameter, but god it was comfortable.

It's also note worthy to point out that adapter will put the steering wheel farther into the drivers lap, much like the Grant and Momo adapters available. Keep this in mine when shopping for a wheel.

I'm not too sure the adapter is much thicker than the stock steering wheel's built in adapter.

The Grant adapter in my first Fiero put the steering wheel so far into my lap, I felt like I was in the back seat the first time I drove a Fiero with the stock wheel.

That black sheath around the stock hub makes it look much deeper than it is. The ebay adapter might not be as bad as the Grant, but I can tell it'll push the wheel out about an inch.
