It works on my Firefox (in both Windows and Linux). Do you have the Java plug-in?

Don't know why you posted this in tech, since it's not, but it probably works fine aside from the fact that it uses java and the general design of it is very 1992.

If you can see:

Roam To:

¡HELP! I'm Lost!
Non-Java Menu is in Here.

in left TOC frame....

Then read Help page.

The Ogre's Fiero Cave (It's also at the top and bottom of every forum page...)

Ogre uses java in a way to prevent Google from indexing his website, so if you don't have java installed on your system then his site won't work for you. I'm in the same boat, my only internet access is through work and my IT guy won't install java on this system. I'm also locked out from making any changes to the machine by the way the rights and access permissions are set up. I haven't been to Ogre's site in years. I hear it's pretty useful.

I posted it here in the interest of possibly getting an answer from anyone. Not necessarily the Ogre himself as i see his is usually busy helping other people on here with issues that they have with their Fieros. Better to utilize resources that are nearly as good than not use them at all.

I also just installed the latest Java Plug in and i still get nothing more than the header pane on the left of the screen.

And if you know where to look, you can see the "rest" of Ogre's cave (not just tunnel #6 ). Lots of other fun, non-fiero related stuff there. No advertisements at all. I've managed to get in and out of the cave a few times without being eaten! Close, but keep trying Ogre!

Right, but it should have been in General. Not sure what isn't working right for you. Loads ok here, even without java, but the site could use a lot of work for sure. I feel like there should be a <marquee> scrolling by, and Hall & Oates playing in the background.

1. Yes, I use Java. You're not forced to use Java. Go to Help page and use "old" index. Old index was available for years, since WebTV didn't have support for Java back then. Been on Help page when it was created...

And I keep it up to date because Internet Archive's Wayback Machine can't support Java.

2. If you can't see the Help page on TOC frame... See https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/100472.html
Old index has no script or Java. It does use basic Frames... (All current browsers will support HTML Frames.)

3. If you still can get in... Browser is hosed, Cache needs clearing, shut add-ons off, etc.... or Try a different browser.
Company user? Some companies will block home.comcast.net in their firewall rules...

Edit...

I've edit the TOC frame...

I change java note from black to white and even edit bpcolor=blue in case page display w/o background image. Black font and dark image is easy to miss...

Note for non java uses now read:

Unfortunately, FireFox and some others don't display the note... Firefox put a box and give download plugin message. I can't do anything about that but FF will still display TOC frame and help link.
