Using the same type of paint? Got a pic of the "bubble"?

im not sure if u can see it, it caused moreless a wrinkle effect, and it was duplicolor clear for wheels, it was a brand new can and dad told me to try it, which now i regret it lol, the other wheels got shinier over night as the paint is curing, so im sanding this one down with the 320 til i getthe erinkles paint off, should i re primer, or just re black after i get it all sanded
heres a pic of a wheel before the lsat coat of black, and no wrinkles

Ill say the two paints, black and clear are not compatible. ie/ enamel black and laquer clear. Most Duplicolor paint is lacquer. Wrinkling or bubbling are usually the results.

So you used Rusoleum paint & Duplicolor clear: what did I tell you about mixing brands/types of paint??? More info about stripper is in the link I posted before, too. http://gafieroclub.org/bbs/index.php?topic=469.0 You might be able to just wash it off with laquer thinner. ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver"

you need to stick with one type of paint thru the whole job. If you use duplicolor clear, you need to use duplicolor black and duplicolor primer. Then their all the same.
If your going to use automotive catalyzed primer, it dont like laquer clear as you found out. If you use 2 part primer, use regular basecoat black and urathane 2 part clear.
You can buy a quart of stripper at Autozone...dont buy a spray can. Brush it on, let it set and use a wire brush. power wash afterward and make sure you get it all off. I usually go over it with a scotchbrite and a dish of thinner on everything. Then go back to refinishing them. Personnally, like I already said just buy spray cans of gloss black Rustoleum or Krylon and your done...no primer or clear required.
