87 GT MY TEMP GAGE IS ALL THE WAY TO THE RITE,,,WAY UP IN THERE, AND IT STAYS THERE it doesnt come down out of there for nothin, do i need a new sender?? carl

Disconnect the wire to the temp sender. If key on, the gauge doesnt return to the left, it's not your sender.
