I've noticed at some of the car shows that some of the door & rear window glass "appear" to have a deeper tint, excluding the film overlays.
I was at the bone yard today and stumbled across another one with the deeper "looking" tint. So I jotted down some info & came home and compared that info with what was on my glass. Maybe someone can figure this out. No,, I'm ahead of you. The code sticker on the fender was gone.

So far I figured that LOF is Libby Owens Ford & PPG is Pittsburgh Plate Glass.
Is the difference just a manufacturing quality or was there an option for the glass type other than heated rear?
I found this link but it doesn't give me the answer .
http://www.docstoc.com/docs...LASS-%28continued%29I know you boys have the answer. Thanks
