My motor & trans (4t65E-HD) were apart when I got them so I'm not 100% sure how everything was from the factory.

Do I use washers on the flex plate bolts? What about on the flex plate to torque converter bolts?

& do I use Loctite (red/blue) on any of these bolts?

My trans is a 4T65E non-HD and if there were any washers they were physically part of the bolt for the crankshaft to flexplate - been a while so not fresh in my mind. The torque converter bolts did not have washers.

Alldata shows no washers on either and doesn't list loc-tite for a 2000 GTP w/HD but the pictures are not great so I cannot be sure. Torque for torque converter bolts is 47 ft/lbs and for the crank bolts it is 11 ft/lbs then 50 degrees further. I did use blue loc-tite on both for mine.

Where do you get them? I went to Buick & they said they didn't sell them anymore. Was going to re-use the old ones or just get some from home depot or something...

I just got some at the dealer, it was $12 for 8. There was only 2 bolts with in 50 miles so they had to order them.

Oh sorry, flex plate to crank, misread that. I bought the flex plate to crank bolts from zzp http://www.zzperformance.co...php?id=365&catid=102

What about the flex plate to torque converter bolts? Those are the ones the dealer told me they didn't sell anymore.
