Do these wheels require "tuner" nuts, or do they have adequate clearance for a 19mm impact socket? OR even 17?

Or if anyone knows of any other somewhat cheap (less than a grand) 17x7, 17x8 staggered combo that DOESN'T require bastard goddamn lug nuts de tuner de tabarnac... I hate using those keys...

My 17" ASA AR1's use normal bevel 19mm nuts.

An impact socket will not fit, so use a slim 6 point socket.

If your ordering from tirerack (only US supplier I believe) they will send you the correct lug nuts with the wheels. Look like a 45 degree taper to me. I have a few extras and can take a closer look when I get home. IIRC fiero lugs nuts also fit but I'd have to double check to be positive.

The fiero lug wrench will not work for these wheels either. Their design leaves little room around the lugs. Make sure to carry a rachet/breaker bar and socket with your spare. I keep a cordless impact wrench with mine.

EDIT: 60 degree conical taper. 19mm, 12mm x 1.5 thread, 1.5" long.

Ok, thanks for the straight answers.

Good to know I can use regular hex lugs nuts.

I don't even have Fiero lug nuts, so I don't care about that. I just have a strong dislike for tuner style lug nuts.
