Actually on the rear I normally put them on the cradle near the control arms. I don't remember up forward but I'm sure there is a good place under the front crossmember. The jacking points are not the best places IMO since they leave the weight of the engine and trans as an overhanging weight past the back set of stands.

Level concrete. Assault and dirt will let jack stand move over time. minute to days depend on weather.
