is 15/16th inchs anough throw on the slave cylinder on a 86 sport with a 4 cylinder with a isuzu tranny? if it is my prioblum must be inside the tranny right?

That's almost one inch. On the Getrag that is excellent. Probabaly on the Isuzu too.

That's what I have on my Izusu 5 speed connected to my 2.8

so if my hydrolics are good, what in the tranny would stop the car from going into gear while its running but be fine while its parked

Nothing inside the tranny but a bad clutch disk or worn out pressure plate would cause this situation.
The car needs clutch work.
