Heres the thing, i will soon be putting non pop up flush mount headlights on my car because im tired of going through motorized ones, and then getting new ones and they don't work or just other crap in that category. But i will be using the flush mount design just a different design on the inside of the headlight itself. i live within 40 miles of a junk yard that you can get body parts at for cheap. And i personally like the modern style lights on cars these days and there they have tons of cars with modern style lights. But when you buy flush mount fiero lights, the rectangle ones just don't look that great in my opinion. I like what the call "halo" lights but i just with you could find ones that were for a fiero. So heres the solution i will be going to that junkyard and getting lights off their cars and bringing them home and chopping them up. and mounting them into a flush mount fiero headlight design. And after they are nice and secured where they don't move i will fiberglass around them and give them a sleek design like in the one below.

But after i finish mine i would like to sell similar ones to the fiero community here on pennocks. Note- over the headlights will be crystal clear lexan covers.

Sorry about my editing skills, but here is what i'm talking about, they would look similar to these. but would not be colored.

And once they are finished the insides would look similar to the inside of the ones above.

If i can produce mine correctly and if i can get over 10 people interested in buying some then i wiill sell them for $250 a set +s&h

give me some feedback.

mount them as high as you can in the buckets. the nose of the car will cause a shadow in the headlight beam.

Also are you making the lexan cover ? sounds cool ! I "might" be instrested in a set depending on the outcome.

I like the idea, but I would sort of like to see some kind of prototype before committing 250$....

I did something similar to my Ferrari kit. Looked OEM and no more motor hastles. I used 3/16 Lexan. It can be cut with fine jig saw or band saw and block sanded the edges to make straight and smooth. I built the light mounting 'box' out of 1/8 sheet aluminum, painted black. I might be able to find a better shot.

I did the same on mine, but the design was flawed. The lexan frame can't be sealed very well, and when it got in the rain, the water would get in around the seam and leave muddy splotching on the inside. The only way to really seal it would be with black silicone on both sides of the metal channel holding the lexan. BTW it really does need to be put in securely because I had one fly off in a high wind condition

My lexan was held on with 6 , 1 inch pieces of velcro where you couldnt see them. I could pop them right off to clean inside and just press em back on. I never lost one in 7 years, even at 150 mph. I made a few spares and never needed them, still in my parts room. Trick is you have to make sure the front edge doesnt stick up higher than the nose or it will catch the wind. Far as I know the guy (on here) that bought the car still has them on.

They wont fit. Theyre made for a Ferrai kit body. And made to fit my custom made buckets. (it had tabs where velcro was mounted)

Heres a better view
