I put one on the last 3800 swap I did for Norsac on here. I liked the sound of it and I assume he does also..I usually use a Flowmaster but thought I would give the SpinTeck a try....
I have a spintech with no cat on my 3.4l and it honestly sounds like a V8. 3800's don't sound good under load IMO but a different muffler may help. I keep thinking im going to post a video of it revving and then forget...
Spiteck was my first choice, but when I found someone to make my exhaust locally, I had limited time to get it done, and there were not any distributers local (at least I could not find one) so I went with the Flowmaster 80.

Although I have not confirmed the performance the Spintech may be a bit restrictive for a 3800SC. This muffler works by redirecting or spinning the exhaust gases within the muffler in a circle so the system is far from a straight through. I used the Flotech Afterburner on my 3800SC. Not exactly quiet but it is nonrestrictive. I don't want to sacrifice any valuable horsepower for sound. Only a few horsepower could mean the critical difference between winning and losing.

Got a spintech on mine and love the sound of it. Got a video on youtube but it was before it had tips so it was dumping straight out of the muffler and had a buzzing drone sound at certain rpms. Sounds better now with the tips. Need to get it out and get another video.

I've got the spintek, and it sounds good at idle and wide open. I don't like the sound of it through the rpm range. once it hits around 4000rpm it sounds great!
I'm thinking about possibly changing it if i can find something better, but it sounds like most people like it!

I am just trying to cover all bases. I Drive a 3800sc regal gs daily and know it is difficult to make the engine sound decent from the exhaust standpoint.
The spintech does sound good though but theres always that point in the RPM range with these 3800's and aftermarket mufflers when your just like.....

I've got a Spintec on my 3800, sounds awesome at idle! What about the flowmaster? Is that any good on a V6? I might want one if its a good through the RPM range

I have had the 333SC Spintec on my 3800SC for four years now and love the sound. I have resonator tips to cut down on sound of the rasp. I recently installed a flex joint between the exhaust manifold and the muffler. The muffler is mounted to the frame with brackets weld to the muffler and bolted to the cradle. The case on this muffler is heavy enough to weld to. It is a pretty stout muffler.
Here is a video of my car being dynoed at Summit racing.
