We have a guy up in Alaska with an 84 2.5L Auto. He emailed me for an eprom (someone stuffed an 85 V6 eprom in his 6156 ECM). I have the binaries but the prom is a TMS2532 and I have used all of mine up.
If anyone has one they want to shoot to this guy, let me know. I will keep looking in my vast archives (garage).
I have a bin for DKY1888 I could burn on a 2732 eprom $10 including prom and postage. Will the 2732 work? I use them on my 85-6
No, the 2532 has two pins swapped from the 2732. GM used the 2532 in some of the early ECMs. I am still looking through my stash for any 2532 I can erase and burn for him. I have the bins, it's the 2532 I lack.
Sorry for the delay. Mine has the silver sticker, over a slightly raised center section, with a round window. The full number on the bottom is M2532E/07800.
The sticker reads: DELCO DDB 0203
There are some other numbers on the chip, but I don't have a magnifier handy.
It's no longer in a carrier. Don't know what happened to it.

If you guys (Raydar and KurtAKX) would like to sell them, PM me a price and we can work out the payment. I can erase them and burn the right code for him.

If you're sure you can burn it (these old ones take a higher voltage that the cheap eBay burners might not support) its yours for shipping cost.
Thanks everyone. I got the chips, swapped in his code and put them in the mail. Hopefully he can go from sitting the car making engine and squealing tire noises to actually driving it!
For those that sent the chips, let me know if I can help you in the future assuming you can find me and I respond.

For future reference, the part number 16026403 shown on the chips is the part number for the 2532 blank. So if you need to make a chip for a 6156 ECM, that is one way to identify the correct eprom. Some also have "2532" stamped on the back. The 2532 is not the same as a 2732.

Somewhat. I have a lot of bins but not all of them. I know I don't have the 86 V6 Getrag for the SE with 14 wheels HWU5176 (like that matters) but I do have most of them.
What are you looking for?

I don't have anything that can burn old stuff like the 2532 and 2732 (actually my burner completely let go a couple years ago, and I lost interest)... but it occurred to me that if you have the Xtronics or one of the good "old school" units, it would be possible to burn a chip to correct the horrible, horrible, awful AE bog/undriveable condition I get when I put a Holley TBI on my car.
If I sent you a chip, a suitably modified .bin and return postage, could you erase/burn me a chip?
Of course, this would require I get the old P3 computer with my copy of TunerCat working again...daydreaming.
Yeah, if you send me a binary and chip I'm more than happy to burn it. I still might have some of the 2532's but I wanted to help this guy get going quickly so I turned to forum. I'm sure they are on the property somewhere...
I should have done the editors for the L4's but there wasn't any demand at the time. If you have the Tunercat editor, I'll burn the chips. Let me know.

I actually fired up my ancient P3 450mHz desktop tonight, and found that the only definition I have for the Duke is the '7748 $48 mask.
I'll have to go see if I can get the correct mask from TC. Do you have a .bin image of the BCC: CZY?
My "Epromer6" (Circa. 2003) is just as dead as I remembered it to be.
No, I don't. It's a 1C mask which is in this group CFX, DHD, DYM, FAM, FAR, FAT, CZY, FAU, FWK, HFL, HHW, HHY, HHZ, AAMJ. It's on the Tunerpro site. I don't have Tunerpro so I would just dust off my old code and do it in there.
Are you getting a tip-in sag?

When I put the Holley on, I do. Its more than a sag, I drop below the LFL of the fuel and the motor cuts out momentarily. The AE is totally wrong for something with so much more cross-sectional area.
Since I'm bored, I'm thinking about doing some math to equate the Holley to the stock Model 300 by throttle angle, using cross-sectional area and discharge coefficients of the butterfly valve to generate a new %TPS map that shows the accelerated timing (more fuel by a given throttle angle) of the "pump shot".
I'm curious to see if I can use physics and pretty much "get it right" the first time.
The only bummer is that I don't know the injector constant (lb/hr) of Holley's TBI injector vs. the stocker. I'm not sure if I have the motivation to build a TBI injector test rig.

Somewhere I have the injector flows for all of the 80-90's TBI injectors. I'll dig it up. As for the Holley, I got squat. But if there is something you need let me know.\
Do you know the part number of the Holley injector? Is it on this list?
