How would you adjust how high the headlights raise? My drivers side light raises just a little bit lower than the passenger side...

If you follow the pushrod from the bottom of the light pod you'll see that the other end closest to the motor is actually attached to a bellcrank. That bellcrank has an "ear" on it that comes into contact with the headlight cage as it spins around to the open position. There's a plastic or hard rubber bumper pad on the cage where the ear contacts it. It's the excessive torque that the motor encounters when the bellcrank hits that bumper pad that shuts off the motor. So in your case, I'd look to see if the pad isn't misplaced somehow, or if there isn't something else that's binding up the pushrod prematurely and causing it to stop a little too low.

Link, pivot bearing, and motor, look good?

Next...

4 (I think it's 4...) stud and nuts use for mount the whole "bucket" to front "trunk" wall.
Gives about a 1/2 - 3/4 inch adjustment.
Someone may have remove the whole headlight bucket and didn't put it back.

Or maybe the headlight hit something and someone repaired it.
