Hello,

I have an 88 Formula 5-speed. I would like to try Redline's MTL lube. What is the capacity of the transaxle??

Thanks,
Pal

I ran into this problem as well. I just filled it until it overflowed. It works perfect. I don't think this can hurt anything since the oil really doesn't expand much or have high amounts of pressure.

Wow! Don't bet on that. Fully empty is less than three quarts. I filled mine three weeks ago and took about 2.3 quarts. Buy three and use the filer gage. See in the manual below where the level should run.

Use the dipstick, dipstick.

About 2-3 quarts should do it.

Thanks guys, I just ordered 3 quarts of the MTL. Along with Rodney's new shift cables and select arm rebuild kit, I should be set to go!
