a picture from Sinister Performance Website

the exhaust Ryan is putting on my car

These don't require cutting the trunk. The muffler ended up being a little thick on mine so Ryan had to move a portion of the trunk wall aft an inch or so for clearance to the muffler. I was not willing to cut away the lower half of my trunk and this doesn't allow for a cat with the stock manifolds, I plan to add a cat later this summer. I plan to route the exhaust similar to the stock Fiero using Ryan's exhaust from the muffler on back though (I'll need to flip the muffler). We pretty much had to choose between a cat or a muffler and I felt that a cat only would have been too loud.

More than likely he will not ship a plug and play exhaust system because of the slight differences in the way engines are mounted, the location can vary enough to cause interference. I contacted him a while back and asked the same question and that is pretty much the answer I got. Try emailing or sending him a PM. He can answer those questions for you.

I took my car to a custom exhaust shop along with a picture of what I wanted it to look like (the same as what Ryan does) and they custom cut and bent the tubing to fit my car. I do not have any pics, but it looks just like the one that Ryan does.

The cost was very reasonable as well.

BTW, I used a Flowmaster 80 series muffler.

Good point. Ryan makes his own drivetrain mounts allowing the drivetrain to sit lower in the cradle (no decklid interference). If I had been open to removing the lower half of the trunk Ryan would have been able to provide me with a cat also.

I can answer that here for you guys. And what topcat said is correct, I can't really make these systems for mail order because of the very tight clearances and spaces alotted by the Fiero's trunk and cradle. On this system I just built for Rick's car, there are areas where the exhaust is only 1/4" away from the cradle and the trunk's heat sheild. If I were to make an exact duplicate of this system for mail order and shipped it to someone that didn't have their engine/trans mounted in the exact same position as I have it mounted in Rick's swap, it would likely not fit. So instead of being confronted with a host of support issues, I would rather just not make them available for sale in mail orders. Now if you were to bring your car to my shop to have something made, that's a different story.
