I just replaced the parking brake lever with a new one from The Fiero Store. It doesn't come with the e-brake light switch, so I moved that over from the old handle.
Now the parking brake light won't go off. Any suggestions on how to properly adjust this?

I did a search and only found this one thread related to it: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...070315-2-077700.html

Does anyone have a picture of exactly how the switch activates. I didn't think to take a picture of mine before pulling it off my old handle, so I'm not positive it's installed correctly. It seemed like there was only one right way, but with Fieros I take nothing for granted.

This picture shows the E-brake in the ON position, with the handle lowered back to the ground. If you look closely, you'll see a curved "ramp" at the end of the part with the teeth. When the E-brake button is pressed, the little dog is pushed away from the teeth allowing the toothed portion to rotate which causes that ramp to pivot upwards and push the copper contact with the curled end on the switch up and away from the lower contact. That breaks the connection and turns off the light. To adjust the switch you probably have to loosen the screw holding it in place and make sure that it's rotated such that the action works like it's supposed to. Hope this helps.
