Is anyone running a NIC cam from zzperformances website? They warn "Can be dangerous if not tunes properly." Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this cam before a make my purchase. Can a 3800 sc be tuned well enough in a fiero? (that wont cost me an arm and leg)

Tuning the 3800 in a Fiero is just like tuning it in the Grand Prix. I can not comment much on the NIC cam as it was not avaliable when I picked cams. I went with the XP as is was the going thing below the XPZ at the time. I know the NIC cam was stopped being offered for sometime but unsure why.

There are a few "secret" tricks to make this cam really shine, and there are a small handful of people that know what they are.

The NIC is easily the best cam for a "money minded" m90 supercharged build. It easily results in the most power per dollar as you can stay away from the more expensive engine mods such as timing chain upgrades, head work, and intercooling.

it is not hard to clear 400hp with just a NIC cam, 105 springs, headers, and SSIC intercooler, aka, $1000 in mods, at new prices.
