I can't find this info anywhere! I already ordered new bolts, but I want to clean and chase the threads, and I need to get the right size. Is it m12x1.5? I screwed one in to the sizing board at the parts store, but it seemed loose.

Thanks!

Is this the last great mystery of the 21st century, or what? NAPA has no recore, O'Reilly has no record, I won't even bother going to Autozone...My service manual doesn't tell me anything....I searched the forum and came up with someone else on here asking the same question...with no answer! Come on experts, show off your knowledge to the Fiero mortals!

If no one has answered this by tomorrow, I'll look it up in the illustrated parts book (the P Book) for you then and post the info.

From the 84-87 parts manual.

Stud, Cyl Head (M11x1.5x75/M10x1.5x18)
Bolt, Cyl Head (M11x1.5x100) PL

Hope this helps.

Thanks thumpr - That's funny, I was joking with the auto parts guy about it being an 11mm. I'm glad I didn't try to run a 12mm tap down the threads!

Now we also have a searchable answer for others in the future.

I also found a TSB for the head bolts, but I can't get PIP to work tonight for some reason. If you want it, send me your email addy and i will send it to you that way, then maybe you can get it to post, lol.

Edit : I think Bloozberry and I were typing at the same time, and thinking the same thing, lol
