Hi if I was to buy this engine listed below, what additional parts like engine mounts ect would I need to complete the swap. what performance could I expect from my 87 gt with this motor.

Pontiac Fiero 3.8 Auto Supercharged Engine Conversion

This is a complete engine and gearbox from a Buick Grand Am 1998 it had 80000 miles when removed

It Comes complete with all wiring and Computer

Also included is an Engine Wiring loom from a V6 1987 Fiero

It is Also supplied with the Factory Service Manuals Volumes 1 to 3 for the engine and gear box

This is the series 2 engine with the Heavy Duty 4 speed auto which is the best suggested combination for the fiero conversion

Three things were damaged during shipping one is the egr valve this can be plated and remove which most people do in the States but the ecotec holden seems to be similar the supercharger pulley was bent as was an idler pulley

This engine with a 10psi Pulley in a fiero will create one very quick street car

Since the guy that posted the Ad has no clue what he is talking about I would stay away from the setup.

Buick Grand Am?
Grand Am having the 3800 SC?
10 PSI?

Being in Australia and fieros being very rare here, its hard to know whats what.
we have a 3.8l sc holden commodore here that is supposed to be a good swap for a fiero, I know its originally an american motor but im not sure from what car.

Well, its a bit hard to understand this... but I will make a try at what you are asking....

The holden supercharged 3800, is identical to the american counterpart. I imagine you can find the 4speed automatic in some car down there, but a buick grand am is not one of them.

It sounds like the guy ordered a engine and trans from the states, most likely out of a pontiac grand prix, or a buick regal, and he is just trying to get out from under it.
