after some talking with my bro, he is unclear as to what injectors he put in the car. after doing some self tuning, im thinking we are using some N/A injectors. or he got jewed. we are under the impression these are 3800sc II injectors, but playing with fueling is showing different. im thinking the injectors are smaller than what they need to be. how do i know what injectors these are? after some fuel injector size calculating, i need about a 31.3 lb/hr injector (x6) to meet my engines required goals. and thirst.
oh, i searched and didnt find anything i was looking for. a lot less results came up than i thought i would find. like 12 results if that.
other than that - all you can do is a flow test - and most folk dont have the stuff to do this - but - everything needed is at the u-pull-it yard to build a flow check & injector cleaner. basicly - a fuel pump, fuel rail & a container to inject fuel into, and measure how much flows thru it in a specified amount of time
I believe that injectors are color coded. There should be a colored band on it that will tell you what lb rating it is. like a gold band = xlbs, and a blue band = xxlbs. I'm sure somewhere on the web you can find the color chart for GM injectors.
Edit to say; that's how Ford injectors are anyway. I am assuming that GM does the same.

Ford color codes SOME injectors. Out of the 10-15+ ford injectors I have maybe 3 of them are color coded.
Americasfuture,PM me the part number from one of the injectors and I should be able to give you flow ratings and info on them and possibly application data. Might be two numbers, give me both if so. I know my set of LS1 injectors has both the Bosch part number and the GM part number. Also get with me if you still want the manifold stuff I have, decided not to port since I got the 3.1tgp.

ok here are the numbers i got off of one of them. 0280155737. has the letter A stamped into it with 060 underneath it. and 622 off to the side. also has 12.8 sharpied onto each one. dunno wtf thats about lol.
EDIT: ok, im googling the part number with fuel injector, and im getting some results. theyre Bosch 36lb/hr. dont think theyre Bosch III's, i havent seen any information stating that.
These guys are good to deal with when it comes to the Fiero. They're pretty familiar with them. They used to race them back in Maryland when their Father owned a Pontiac dealership. They're local to me and I've talked with them several times about various applications related to the Fiero.
