I am building a 3.4 to install into an 86 duke powered Fiero. I have managed to collect most of what I need to get this together, but I can not find a decent harness, with no cut or spliced wires. Now, I was thinking the 2.8 in the Camaro was the exact same setup, with the exception of the starter being on the wrong side, am I correct in that? I think that I have read that more than a few Fiero guys have used the ecm from the F-body platform as an upgrade, if I read correctly. So it should stand to reason that I could use the engine harness rom a 2.8 Camaro, and a stock Fiero ecm, and it should all still be plug and play. This is what I am thinking anyway. Has anyone tried this before, or can anyone tell me yes or no? I have found a camaro harness, but $100.00 is a lot to pay for something that you can't use, so if anyone can help me out please let me know. Or if anyone wants to sell an engine harness from an 85-87 2.8 Fiero, please let me know. Thanks

The connectors may be right, but they wont be routed correctly. If you put the Fiero harness on a Camaro the c500 would be at the radiator, and c203 would be at the left inner wheel well. You would still have to dissasmble and rebuild it, and I dont think the Camaros have the same connectors (c500,c203) I would suggest getting some random wiring harnesses from the j.yard just for the wires/colors and rebuilding your Fiero harness.
