Understanding the V8 adds about 85 pds on the V6 car on the rear...What are the thoughts on adding weight to the front to equalize? and has anybody done so and by method...? I'm not talking sandbags for weight mind you...LOL Thnks for any input...Pete

I doubt you could even tell a difference. I can't.

You "could" add weight to the front but it will just slow you down in the long run. Your better off moving weight around and/or adjusting the suspension to compensate. I, personally, would not add weight. I would make changes elsewhere. The best way to know what needs changed is to drive it as much as you can. Thats what I put my energy into.

Just adjust your spring rates and tire sizes to compensate.

What V-8? Are you keeping the Fiero trans, or using an auto trans that came with the engine? Is this a V-6 or Duke Fiero?

85 pounds could be right, it could be way off.

Information is needed.

If you are worried about the weight distribution, I second Top Notch's suggestion - Move your battery up front.
