May need a fuel pump for my 84 duke. Rock Auto has the AC Delco pump for less than the whatever brand The Fiero Store carries. My questions are:

What brand is the Fiero stores and had anyone used it?

The Rock Auto AC Delco pump doesn't show all of the O rings and seals with the pump, but does show them with some of the lesser brands of pumps. I'd rather stay with the AC Delco pump but if it doesn't come with all I need to install it the price may not be as good as it looks. Anyone know if it it comes with everything needed?

Are there better brands out there than the Delco I should consider?

Thanks

I replaced my fuel pump about three years ago with a Fiero Store unit. I believe it is a "Carter" but don't quote me on that. Bottom line, after three years it continues to work and came with all the necessary hardware for the installation. More importantly, the O-Ring for the tank seal.

Trust me the fuel pump is one of those parts that should ONLY be replaced with a GM part!

i had the duke, and the pump went out, so we used the fierostore one. worked well, until we burned it up (ran out of fuel due to broken fuel gauge. don't do that). replaced with the fiero store again, and still worked well. transmission went out, so we just changed motors, completely. haha.

i know it worked for about a year, as long as there's gas in the car. ;]

I got an AC Delco pump from monsterpartsonline (a GM parts store) for my 88 duke. It's been there a couple of years and still works fine. And it is much quieter than the old pump. I'm going to have to get an AC Delco for my 86 V6, because that car has a very noisy pump.
