EDIT: I said the hole was in the head, it's in the block below the head.
I used one in my Fiero and yes, everything swaps. But you do have to check one thing.
Below the right head (looking from the front), there is a coolant bypass hole that mates to the timing cover. On some D engines, that hole is dished and the front timing cover won't seal. Some people have it filled in on the timing cover, tapped and closed the block and others figure out a workable gasket.
On mine (new crate motor) , block was flat so it sealed fine.
